The Chilean club Colo Colo celebrated its centenary with an intimate ceremony in Santiago de Chile. The commemoration was marked by the recent death of two fans of the team near the Monumental stadium, which occurred on April 10 before a Copa Libertadores match.
During the ceremony, the club president, AnĂbal Mosa, highlighted the importance of remembering the history and achievements of the team in these one hundred years of existence. A minute of silence was also observed in memory of the deceased fans, and a floral tribute was made in their honor.
"We, throughout our entire history, have tried to contribute to Chilean football," said Mosa, acknowledging the significance of Colo Colo in national sports. The ceremony was attended by club authorities, former players, officials, and family members of the deceased fans, who shared emotional moments on this special day for the institution.
