Chile triumphed over Peru 3-2 in the U-20 Sudamericano match held in Venezuela. Ignacio Vásquez and Juan Rossel led La Roja with goals, securing the top spot in Group A.

In an exciting match corresponding to the third round of the South American Under-20 Championship, Chile defeated Peru 3-2 at the Metropolitano de Fútbol de Lara Stadium, Venezuela. "La Roja" positioned itself as the leader of Group A with 6 points, followed by Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Peru.

The goals for Chile were scored by Ignacio Vázquez in the 12th minute of the first half, and Juan Rossel, who scored twice at 42' and 48' of the second half. On the other hand, Peru scored with Bassco Soyer and Juan Goicochea.

With this victory, Chile secured its position in the table and is preparing to face Paraguay in the next round, where it will seek to advance to the next stage. Meanwhile, Peru accumulated its third defeat in the tournament and remains in the last position of the group.

Despite Chile's clear superiority during the match, Peru managed to equalize the score on two occasions. However, Juan Rossel became the hero of the match by scoring the winning goal at the end, establishing himself as the top scorer of the championship with a total of 4 goals.

Regarding statistics, Chile dominated the game with 27 shots, 9 of which were on target, while Peru had only 6 shots, 2 of them on target. Despite the intensity of the match and Peru's attempts to equalize, Chile managed to maintain the lead and take the important victory in this youth tournament of South America.
