The Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism of Chile, Nicolás Grau, will participate in the Oil & Gas Patagonia 2024 with an exclusive presentation on the great synergy opportunities that the hydrocarbon activity has in the region, incorporating a cross-border perspective regarding resources and their projection in international markets. The Oil & Gas Expo is organized by the Argentine Institute of Oil and Gas (IAPG) and brings together the entire industry sector to promote the updating, professionalization, and growth of this important area in the country.
The next edition of the Argentina Oil and Gas Expo Patagonia will take place at Espacio DUAM. Grau's visit will be an excellent opportunity to learn about Chile's economic and commercial strategies, as well as explore potential investment and collaboration opportunities in various sectors. The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Neuquén, Gustavo Medele, confirmed that Grau will be present with the intention of closely examining the energy solution of the region.
In this regard, Medele emphasized the importance of Grau getting to know the high-density and active oil zone and noted that this visit will provide an opportunity to showcase that it is a resource that can be extracted, exported, and has long-term potential. The presence of Grau and other foreign officials helps demonstrate that the region has the capacity to produce and export resources sustainably over time.
During the fair, the province of Neuquén will have a stand managed by the state oil company Gas and Oil of Neuquén (GyP) and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. Minister Medele and the company's president, Guillermo Savasta, will participate in meetings, technical talks, and encounters with key industry leaders. Additionally, the PyME-ADENEU Center, under the Ministry of Economy, Production, and Industry, will have a stand where 65 Neuquén companies will promote their services.
