Buenos Aires, Nov 16 (NA) – Chilean lawmaker and presidential candidate Johannes Káiser has acknowledged defeat and announced his support for Republican José Antonio Kast in the runoff election. "We are keeping our word and will back his candidacy in the second round," affirmed the libertarian candidate, according to the Argentine News Agency. Káiser stated: "Six months ago, we had nothing; we had barely managed to gather the signatures for the party. Six months later, we will have a bloc, with senators and deputies." "We are a force that has come to stay in national politics. Those principles that other political parties, from our sector, have so generously adopted are being fulfilled today," the candidate added.
