President Javier Milei recently held a talk with the presidential candidate of Chile, José Antonio Kast. "I just had a very good conversation with the President of Argentina @JMilei with whom we agree on the enormous opportunities that Latin America has and the relationship between Chile and Argentina towards a future with more freedom, security and economic progress," Kast posted on his X account. Subsequently, Milei reposted the message from the Republican candidate and added: "The Freedom of America Advances". Due to the tight result that ended with the officialist candidate Jeannette Jara above Kast, there will be a runoff in the Chilean country. The electoral contest is scheduled for next December 14, the day on which the successor to Gabriel Boric will be known. With almost 72% of the tables counted, Jara reached 26.6%, while Kast reached 24.19%.
