Buenos Aires, Dec. 16 (NA) — According to information provided to the Argentine News Agency, José Luis Daza, Secretary of Economic Policy in Argentina, could become the new Minister of Economy of Chile following the election of José Antonio Kast as president. Economy Minister Luis Caputo stated in the 'La Casa' livestream that 'the possibility of José Luis Daza becoming the Minister of Economy of Chile exists'. Caputo said that 'most likely' José Antonio Kast offered a position to his undersecretary and encouraged him to 'do what the challenge inspires him'. 'I will support him,' he assured. Meanwhile, on social media platform X, Caputo affirmed he had an 'excellent meeting with the President-elect @joseantoniokast and his minister Jorge Quiroz'. An advisor to Kast, Quiroz is also part of the team's economic lineup, which is completed by the Ministry of Finance. 'Many things for our two countries to work together for the benefit of our peoples!' Caputo concluded.
